We embark on a great adventure to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain. We pick you up at your hotel at 5:00 a.m. and head to the town of Cusipata, where you will enjoy an energizing breakfast. The journey takes approximately two hours.
Arrival at Cusipata, where you will enjoy a delicious breakfast to recharge your energy before continuing the adventure.
Another hour and a half will take us to the town of LLonto. Here, we will begin a 4 km hike to Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, which has an altitude of 5,040 meters above sea level, with views of the snow-capped Ausangate mountain range in the distance.
The first section is not difficult, but you will feel the altitude. The network of rainbow mountains will gradually appear until we reach the viewpoint at 5,000 meters above sea level. Their geological formations reveal all their splendor.
After the final ascent, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Rainbow Mountain and the beautiful snow-capped Ausangate (6,372 meters above sea level). Upon arrival, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the view and take photos.
Then, we will descend along the same trail to board our private vehicle for the return journey to Cusco.
We will stop for lunch in Cusipata. Enjoy a delicious traditional lunch.
Finally, we arrive in Cusco at approximately 6:00 p.m. The journey takes approximately 12 hours. End of an unforgettable experience!
